1. Dark Leafy Greens
Dark leafy greens, including spinach, brussel sprouts, kale, broccoli and collard greens are vegetables you should incorporate into your diet. They are great at protecting the body from cytokines that cause inflammation.
Originating in Indonesia, this fruit is known for relieving joint pain and reducing inflammation. Mangosteen is commonly found in Asian grocery stores, you can simply eat them or blend into a juice or smoothie.
Strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are all great at fighting inflammation, on top of providing antioxidants and various vitamins.
Soy contains estrogen-like compounds that reduce inflammation. Soy milk, tofu, edamame, and soy beans are all great options.
